On Living the Dream

 I am a GRANDMOTHER!!! 

I am a grandmother!!!

Yes I am!

I have now 2 grandbabies.  20 days apart from one another (Apollos and Savannah)

Sons,

 You are married, and have a family of your own.  My letters will be different from now on. 

One time dad and I got married with dreams and plans for the future. We enter into marriage with all our good, bad and ugly... We have learned to adapt , to forgive, to love, to repent, to die to self, to be strong when the other needs strength and cover (with love) multitude of sins, to be patient, to love when we are unlovable, to fall in love daily, to dream together, to consider the other's needs, to be there in health and in sickness.... till death do us apart.

But we dreamed. We dreamed of what it would be like having kids. How many? Boys, or girls? Where we were going to live? What life we were going to have?  Dreaming of getting old one day together (gray hairs, wrinkly skin, aging memory, all!)

And here we are. 

Living the dream!

And my prayer and hope for you is this:

Love, love , love

Love daily as if it was the last day. Laugh often and out loud with your own family. Pray often for them and with them. Forgive quickly and repent fast. Keep your emotions under submission to Christ.

                                      And go and represent God and your families well!

(I wrote this 8 months after Erica Faith died) Not too long ago, I felt complete. I felt with my hands full and missing nothing. I never saw myself like I was missing someone to hold or to hug. On Redeeming your Time

 Sons, Time is one of the things that once it is not used, you cannot get back. No wonder why the Bible tells us to redeem our time. To use it wisely. Focus on what is important and use it with whom you love and for His service which will not be in vain .  We learn that from king David and how he fell into sin.  2 Samuel 11 " In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war , David sent Joab out with the king’s men and the whole Israelite army. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah. But David remained in Jerusalem ." Kings (as he was), went to battle, but he stayed. That was his first mistake! Not doing what he was supposed to be doing. He stayed, and so boredom, idleness, and time, became his enemy! On Battling Sin

Dear sons,    I just wanted to write to you quickly today!  I want you to know that you are NOT alone in this battle!  Do not be discouraged by your sin... look to Christ. His forgiveness, grace and power to save and forgive are WAY WAY bigger than your sin. You may think that you are "trying hard to become a Christian" but your reoccurring sin makes you doubt your salvation - I have good news for you. One who is not born again, whose heart has not been made new by the power of the Spirit, does not even want to become one. His heart is hardened towards God and hates even the though of being cleansed and resemble Christ in any way shape or form.  "The child of God has 2 great marks about him...."
